An Evening with Maggie O’Farrell

The writer everyone’s talking about is coming to Bath!

We are so proud and pleased to announce that Maggie O’Farrell, the author of the novel Hamnet and co-screenwriter of the hugely acclaimed Hamnet film, is joining us at Bath Literature Festival this summer.

The award-winning Irish author of novels including The Marriage Portrait, After You’d Gone, The Hand That First Held Mine and her memoir I Am, I Am, I Am, will be at The Forum, Bath, on Monday 1 June to coincide with the launch of her novel Land.

The film Hamnet has touched a deep emotional chord with audiences and critics alike since its launch on 9 January. It’s already been awarded a Golden Globe for best film drama and another for its female star Jessie Buckley. It’s also hotly tipped for the soon-to-be-announced Oscars.
