_OVERVIEW:

Comedy superstar John Bishop is adding extra dates to his ‘Back At It’ UK and Ireland stand-up tour following phenomenal demand for tickets.

The extra shows, bringing the touring schedule to a huge 85 dates – including a number of shows that will be signed by a BSL interpreter - will see John extend the tour into 2025.  Tickets will go on-sale at 10.00am on Friday 22 March at JohnBishopOnline.com for shows in Weymouth, Portsmouth, Southampton, Rhyl, High Wycombe, Brighton, Worthing, Nottingham, Reading, Chatham, Llandudno, Sheffield, Bristol, Bath, Torquay and Truro.

After two years spent TV presenting, stage acting, podcast hosting, dog walking and decorating the spare room, John is back doing the thing he loves most; standing on stage and making people laugh.

John said: “I’m delighted to be adding these additional dates to my 'Back At It' tour.  The work in progress shows started about 10 days ago - the juices are flowing again and the response from the audiences has been incredible. I’m looking forward to seeing many more of you out there on the road.” 

John Bishop has had an incredible career.  Within three years of his first ever comedy gig in 2000, John was playing to sold out arena audiences across the country and released the fastest selling stand-up DVD in UK history.
 
Since then he has achieved huge success with a number of his own comedy, entertainment and documentary shows including: ‘John Bishop’s Australia’ (BBC1), ‘John Bishop’s Britain’ (BBC1); ‘John Bishop’s Only Joking’ (Sky1); ‘The John Bishop Show’ (BBC1); ‘The John Bishop Christmas Show’ (BBC1) and ‘John Bishop’s Gorilla Adventure’ (ITV1), ‘John Bishop’s Ireland’ (ITV1) and four series of the critically acclaimed ‘John Bishop: In Conversation With…’ (W Channel) which saw him chatting one to one with some of the biggest names in entertainment, music and sport. Other TV credits include two series of ’The John Bishop Show’ (ITV1), ‘Doctor Who’ (BBC1) and the documentary John & Joe Bishop: Life After Deaf (ITV1).
 
John also co-hosts the podcast Three Little Words, with writer, actor and director Tony Pitts.  The two friends talk to fascinating people about their lives, hopes, struggles and beliefs.  The show features a rich mix of guests, from world famous musicians and actors, to scientists, politicians, artists and sports stars.  Past guests have included Robbie Williams, John Cleese, Sebastian Faulks and Professor Brian Cox.
 
Last year, John starred in the four-month UK & Ireland tour of Mother Goose with Ian McKellen, which included a hugely successful run in London’s West End.

General Venue Age Policy: 

• Ages 14+, under 16s to be accompanied by a ticket buying 18+.
• The Forum is predominantly an evening entertainment venue for adults where alcohol is served, and music can be loud.
• The Forum or its staff can never act as Loco Parentis under any circumstances.
• The Venue reserves the right to change this policy.

• Audience members may be encouraged to stand up and dance, please be aware when booking seats.
• Box Office is open on performance days approx. 1 hour prior to the performance for purchasing and collecting tickets. 
• There is a lift for wheelchair users from Reception to the Lower Foyer with access to the Stalls.
• There is second lift with access to the Upper Foyer and Ballroom bars.
• The Balcony is stair access only. 

Wheelchairs can be accommodated next to the end of row seats of rows F to K in the Stalls only. Wheelchair companion seats are located in the last seat of the relevant row directly next to the wheelchair spaces. Also available are Disabled Carer tickets to accompany Registered Disabled patrons who are not wheelchair bound.
